Why do you support people  on their immigration journey?

I am an immigrant to Canada and understand the rigorous process involved in obtaining a permanent residency and subsequently settling into a new country.

I desire to make this path easier for others by providing quality information to help them make informed decisions about this immigration journey.

My goal is to help prospective and new immigrants thrive in Canada.

This year’s IWD is themed #ChooseToChallenge; what does it mean to you?

#ChooseTheChallenge means the female gender should stand up and challenge stereotypes, go for your dreams irrespective of what naysayers have to say and be the best version of yourself.

I have experienced stereotypes as a woman in Engineering and I beat all of them and excelled in my Engineering career. You are human and that is the most important thing you should consider. Your gender should not limit your potential because no gender is inferior or weak.

Why do you think www.japaabroad.com is a great innovation to support people in their immigration journey?

Immigrating to another country especially if you are coming from a third world country is very intimidating and challenging.Anybody that decides to immigrate needs all the support they can get as long as they are willing to carry our research, read and work hard.

An initiative such as this that supports prospective and new immigrants is a laudable project that needs to be encouraged and applauded.

Japa Abroad applauds Chimma’s contribution to sharing knowledge and information on her experiences and we look forward to sharing more of her content on our platforms. Keep on excelling and breaking boundaries.
