Awhobiwom Abu-undiyaundeye is an application analyst for a multinational company by day and a content creator every other time. She holds a first degree and Masters in Electronics Engineering and creates content around Studying, Working and Living in Poland and sharing experiences to help others looking to study or work in Poland.
She is passionate about Education and technology and interested in the wholesome growth of young people and women especially as they navigate the different hurdles of work and study life.
Why do you support people on their immigration journey?
I support people on their journey to study and work abroad because I understand the challenges people(especially Africans) face in their home countries when it comes to studying and their professional careers. I also know that for some, they’d experience tremendous growth away from home. When I decided to move to Poland for my masters, I found it difficult to get information especially from Nigerians in Poland so I started documenting and sharing my experiences to make information about moving to Poland easily accessed.
This year’s IWD is themed #ChooseToChallenge; what does it mean to you?
#ChooseToChallange to me means pulling down glass ceilings and not being conforming to societal expectations that are not beneficial to me or women in general. I’ve decided to be as expressive as I can, not diminishing myself or wasting my God given abilities to fit into the box society has created for women.
I #ChooseToChallange all human belief and physical systems that are antithetical to the growth and progress of women.
Why do you think www.japaabroad.com is a great innovation to support people in their immigration journey?
I think they are a great innovation because they provide help to people seeking to relocate to different countries and are not just focused on a particular country. All information is provided in one place as well as providing a community for people looking to migrate.
