Why we started Japa Abroad

Every year, thousands of Nigerians decide to relocate — for school, for work, for a better shot at stability. Most start the same way we did: scattered WhatsApp groups, outdated blog posts, and agents whose only real qualification is confidence.

We built Japa Abroad to fix that. Every school fee listed here is checked, not copied from a 2022 blog post. Every work route is tied to a real visa category, not a vague "opportunities abroad" promise. UK first, because it currently offers the clearest path for Nigerian students and key workers — and we expand into the rest of Europe only as we can verify it properly.

This isn't a big agency. It's a platform built by someone who believes the information should be free and the guidance should be honest — even when the honest answer is "this route isn't for you yet."
